Governor hopeful Josh Schoemann outlines vision for state agency relocation

BELLEVUE (WLUK) — A Republican governor candidate is in Northeast Wisconsin talking about his plans if he were elected.

Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann is in Bellevue at the Brown County Republican Party Headquarters to discuss his plans to decentralize state government by moving key agencies out of Madison to other parts of the state. This would include Green Bay.

In the state’s open race for governor, Schoemann is among two Republicans running. The other is U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany, a staunch Trump supporter and the highest-profile GOP candidate.
