Our campaign is excited to announce the endorsement of Washington County Sheriff Marty Schulteis. Our campaign goal of “Maintaining the Best Quality of Life in Wisconsin” starts with a safe community through the strong partnership the sheriff and Josh have fostered. Josh will always stand behind our Sheriff’s Office and keep our Focus on the People.

Sheriff Schulteis provided the following statement regarding his endorsement:

“Josh is an ardent supporter of the Sheriff’s Office as a fierce advocate in helping to keep our communities safe. Josh’s 2020 budget sent every dollar of new property tax revenue, and then some, to adequately fund public safety. The effective partnership between the County Administration, County Board, and Sheriff’s Office showcases Josh’s strong leadership. This goes back to his time as Richfield Administrator, when I was the Lieutenant responsible for overseeing the community’s deputies. 

Since taking over as Sheriff, I’ve come to appreciate Josh’s engagement with my staff and leadership team. But there’s much more we are poised to accomplish in collaboration with Josh’s leadership, and I hope the residents in Washington County see that great things are on the horizon.“
